Fair Trade policy

J Wippell & Company Limited manufacture and supply Clerical Vestments, Clothing and Hardware items as well as robes for Academic and the Legal Profession, in their own factory in Exeter.

The artificial and natural materials that have to be sourced to operate such a diverse business are purchased directly from a very limited number of reputable specialist UK and EU companies, who are fully aware of our ethical concerns regarding ‘Fair Trade’ products and supply accordingly.

The fabrics used by us are all sourced and woven within the EU with the exception of Polyester and Cotton which is produced in the Far East and our Pure Cotton Poplin, which is grown in Egypt, but woven and dyed and finished within the EU.
